Life with a two year old goes smoother with choices.
Choices on clothes, potty or toilet, bath or no bath, food etc etc.
This little moment happened earlier today....
Pea is always trying to color on the floor, (thank goodness for washable markers!) and I usually give her a choice. Her choice is coloring on the paper or the markers go away. Today I was feeling especially tired and after reminding her to color on the paper a few times I took the markers away, quickly she began to plead with me "No mama!!! CHOICES!!!" Priceless!!! I said sorry for taking the markers away without a choice and I offered her the choice, she chose to happily color on a paper and then handed me the markers when she was done.
Thank you Pea...thank you again for reminding me how to be a peaceful parent.
