Wow, I swear I try to commit to my blog and then fail horribly! But here I am so I'll try to make this good.
We are expecting again and babe number 2 is due in August/September...Pea says August and she says it's a girl, actually she insists, but I kinda think it's a boy and I sure hope for September haha. This pregnancy has been different from my pregnancy with Pea in a few ways. I am more tired, more sick and less concerned/obsessed over the baby/changes in my body. Other than being sick (thank god for diclectin) and tired I can't complain too much, the babe moves around a lot (I started feeling movement at 14 weeks and Daddy was just able to feel it on the outside today at 18 weeks), I eat well, and even better we don't need to buy anything. I feel great about the vbac we will be having and we are really hoping for a homebirth, birth just doesn't scare me this time and I know what I want and what to expect so I feel a bit more prepared and less anxious.
Pea is growing up fast, changing every day. She is more of a preschooler now than a toddler and it's really amazing to watch. She says hilarious things constantly and is constantly a bubble of energy. Her favorite things are playing with dolls, playing with her farm, annoying our dog and doing crafts. She also loves reading books and lately her favorite books are Dr Sears baby books we have taken out from the library.
Since we are moving next week I anticipate that I will not write again for awhile, chaos and moving go hand in hand and I'm sure there will be no shortage of it....but at least I did this small update...hopefully I'll get my sh*t together for another soon!
Before I leave a short conversation with Pea the other day...
Pea: My tummy hurts! Must be dairy!
Me: No, it's not dairy, you are off dairy
Pea: No I not off dairy, I ate yogurt last night
Me: haha! That was soy yogurt Pea, there was no dairy in it!
.....Last night was actually the weekend before that, which was 4 days previous...I cannot believe she remembered that AND made the association!
and last but not least we were in H&R block doing taxes the other day and a man walks in and Pea and Daddy are standing at the counter facing the man and she points right at him and says in a total snotty tone "Whose THIS guy?!"
priceless....
Hahahah! Funny Girl!
