Today we celebrate our first wedding anniversary! I can't believe it was this time last year that we were in mexico getting married with our closest friends and families, amazing how time flies. We don't really have any specific plans today, Daddy is working for the morning and then when he gets home in the afternoon I imagine we will just enjoy some time together as a family. I will (hopefully) make something good for dinner as well.
Yesterday was the 4 year anniversary of my Uncle's death. I really cannot believe it has been 4 years and I miss him more every year that goes by. I wish he would have been here to meet Pea, I know she would have loved him and vice versa. Rest in peace uncle. We love you and miss your goofy sense of humor and laughter.
Yesterday was also Earth Day and I wish I could say we did something special but we didn't. However there are tons of things we do daily to help the earth such as, cloth diapering, breast feeding and we don't buy plastic toys. We try not to use plastic as much as possible in our lives, not only for the environment but also because of the effect it has on us. We also recycle, try to buy as organic as much as possible and love to support local businesses. I can't wait until the farmers market opens so we can buy our fruits and veggies there again.
So that's it for now, I have more to say but I am tired and it's breakfast time here.
