This morning we woke up nice and early and enjoyed a lovely breakfast that I made while Daddy was still in bed. Did you know I don't know how to make coffee?!! Yup I said it...I don't know if I have ever made a pot of coffee!! I don't drink it but still- you would think I would know how to make it....my poor husband! But I made up for it, instead of having a cup ready for him I took him out for coffee.
We went out to this cute little kids cafe in the city it was actually really relaxing. Pea played while Daddy and I had a latte and some mini cupcakes...so incredibly good! We were also able to get Pea a dairy free muffin which was great because it's always hard eating out with her because of her dairy allergy. After the cafe we went down to one of the most beautiful beaches I have ever been too. It is white sand and has a cute little park right above it, you can push your child in the swing and look out at the ocean. So peaceful, but so windy and cold today!
After we had a walk on the beach we decided to head home and on the way we stopped at Fabricland so I could get some sewing supplies. I am hoping I will have some time to work on my next project this weekend.
I love weekends, I love having time with my little family to just hang out and have fun. I feel so blessed to have such a wonderful little girl and a hard working caring husband, the bond the 3 of us have is incredible, it amazes me every day. We are so lucky.
